1. Introduction
The Yoddha Race aims to introduce India to the concept of fitness racing. It is a unique format in which athletes run and perform functional workouts, thereby being tested not only on strength but also on power and endurance.
Conceptualised as a test of strength and endurance, The Yoddha Race challenges each athlete not only physically but also mentally, and the victors who emerge strong on the other side are "The Yoddha"!
In The Yoddha Race, a 700 meter run is followed by a functional workout, and this set is repeated seven times. The athletes must accomplish the running and workouts in the prescribed order (run, workout, run, workout, etc.) until they have completed a total of approximately 5 km of running and 7 workouts to obtain a legitimate finishing time.
The fastest time for each athlete is the basis for rankings and results. Results are sorted from fastest to slowest.
The athlete must be sixteen years of age or older on the day they purchase the ticket to participate.
